The “Bärghüs Grünsee” is a traditional Swiss mountain chalet located in the middle of the skiing and hiking area of Gornergrat and Rothorn, at an altitude of 7,598 feet. The rich alpine flora, the pine forests and the nearby mountain lake Grünsee attract a large number of hikers and picnickers. The Bärghüs offers 5 double rooms with bath and WC, plus a dormitory for 21 persons.
The Bärghüs has two dining rooms ("Gletscherstuba" and “Trächa”) seating up to 120. The “Trächa” room with its chimney offers a cozy mountain lodge atmosphere. Over 180 guests can take in the fresh air and sunshine on the sun terrace.
